A then recent graduate of USC, Shafen Khan started The Corner Blend (previously Yoghut) in 2010 to make a positive and lasting impact on his community. Seeing financial stress take hold of both his family and friends within the Cola community, Shafen realized how his dream of being an entrepreneur wasn't just some big personal aspiration, but an opportunity to help him give back to those in need and make a difference in people's lives.
